We all know that Ramdan is very auspicious and month of god grace, in which our auspicious holy book QURAN was revealed to Prophet Muhammad; and there are many more things that make Ramadan Mubarak to mubarak month, at which's end we celebrate it as EID.
And when we have such a good & auspicious month in our whole year, we should persuade (convince) our Allah; so that we can go to jannah. And talking & thinking about sex in this month can be very confusing, but we should remember that married couple should have sex because marriage is a work of sawab and it is also considered as one of the purest relation in this world.
But despite all these things, the question arises in most of us mind is that " is having sex in ramadan a haram or obliged?". So, I decided let's check it out…

Before starting this, I wanna ask you one thing "is having sex with your married partner a haram"; your answer must be "obviously not", because married couple can have sex and this relationship is also a pure relationship.
Now, one more question also arises that "is having sex in ramadan a haram", this might have very long answer. Because we have to study all the rules that make whether the sex is a haram or halal in ramadan.
Now, let's just dive straight into the answer….
"Actually, having sex in Ramadan is not haraam, having sex in Ramadan will not be a sin. Sex in Ramadan is allowed in Islam and one can do it without any religious issues." Now, let's elaborate this answer.

How to have sex in Ramadan?
If you are having sex in ramadan then you must follow some important rules. If you violate those rules then you will be punished by Allah. Now, let's have a look….
Have sex with your married partner.
Don't have a sex while fasting in ramadan.
After opening the fast you can have sex till Fazr adhan.
Before Fazr namaz have a shower to become Paak (islamically pure)
Don't think about those things that excites you sexually. E.g. Porn, another girl etc.
I wanna talk about things that are mentioned above in detail, so that you will not have any confusion related to it.
#1. Have a sex only with your married partner
It means, don't have sex with another girl/women/pros****** otherwise you will be punished by Allah. Not even in ramadan, even in normal months you should not have sex with a girl other than your wife/husband.
Note:- Having sex with a woman other than the wife is completely 'haram' and by doing so one will not be able to enter 'heaven'.

#2. Don't have sex while fasting
It means, if you are fasting in ramadan then from Fazr adhan to Magrib adhan, don't have sex. If you do this, your fast will be broken and in addition to this you will also be punished by Allah; both the couple will be punished.
Now a question may arise that "when we can have sex in Ramadan" so the answer is…… You can have sex after completing your fast, now from Magrib adhan to Fazr adhan you can have a sex anytime. Please note that, don't even miss your partner, you don't have to be intimate in any sense. This is because Ramadan is for fasting, remembering Allah,doing zakat, helping the needy, praying namaz & reciting quran.
#3. Don't watch/think about things that sexual excites you
If yor are teenager, don't do anything that excites you sexually, like don't watch porn or a girl that makes you horny and don't even think about sex. And if you are adult then think about sex & kissing and avoid porn.
Note:- Masturbating while fasting is also 'HARAM' and a serious offence in Islam. This will break your fast and you will be punished by Allah. This is applied for all i.e. Adult/young or male/female.
